Youth 5.0: AI-Powered Sustainable Solutions for Water Resources and the Environment
General Information
Our project is an international initiative running from 01/09/2025 to 28/02/2027. The project aims to improve young peoples digital skills, enable them to create AI-based eco-friendly solutions, and particularly to develop innovative practices for the protection of water resources and environmental sustainability.
Main Objectives
- Increase young peoples' digital literacy and knowledge of artificial intelligence.
- Support environmental sustainability by promoting efficient water use, smart irrigation systems and environmental technologies.
- Strengthen inclusion and equal opportunities so disadvantaged groups can participate in the digital transition.
Concrete Targets
- Digital Competences: 150 young people will receive AI-based training and approximately 1,500 people will be indirectly reached through an "AI Awareness Day".
- Environmental Sustainability: Through "From River to Field" and "Water Forum" activities we aim for 20% water and 15% energy savings and the development of 5 sustainable agriculture projects.
- Inclusion and Equality: 60 young people will take part in the "Digital Climate Ambassadors" program and will lead environmental projects.

- EcoLearn 5.0 Training Portal (multilingual platform in Turkish Romanian German focusing on AI, environment and inclusion)
- Digital Future with AI Training (150 young people develop AI-based solutions for environmental issues)
- Digital Future Workshop (Romania) human-machine collaboration projects and innovative prototypes
- From River to Field Activity (Turkey) efficient water use and modern irrigation methods
- Water Forum Workshop (Manisa) regional solutions and action plans for water management
- Digital Climate Ambassadors Program youth environmental leadership and awareness projects
- Equal Opportunities Workshop (Vienna) digital and environmental projects for disadvantaged groups
Expected Results
- Improved digital skills and environmental awareness among youth.
- Development of AI-supported eco-friendly applications.
- Participants will produce concrete projects in water management, energy efficiency and sustainable agriculture.
- Increased international cooperation and multilingual platforms will raise global awareness.
In short, this project prepares young people to use AI technologies in environmental sustainability, water management and social inclusion equipping them for the future.
