The Kick-Off Meeting of our Erasmus+ KA210-YOU Project was Held
The kick-off meeting of our project, "YOUTH 5.0: AI-Powered Sustainable Solutions for Water Resources and the Environment," implemented as part of the Erasmus+ KA210-YOU project with the acceptance number 2025-1-RO01-KA210-YOU-000352976, was successfully held.
The project is coordinated by the Asocia?ia Sportiva Romano-Turca (Romania). Together with our partners, the Manisa Youth, Environment, Education and Tourism Association (Turkey) and ForJu (Forderungsverein der Forschenden Jugend) (Austria), we are planning innovative activities for young people.
The main objective of our project is to increase young people's digital competencies, promote environmental sustainability, and strengthen inclusiveness. To this end:
150 young people will participate in artificial intelligence-based digital literacy training and earn a "Digital Future with Artificial Intelligence" certificate.
Modern and environmentally friendly irrigation methods will be introduced through the "From River to Field" and "Youth 5.0 Water Forum" events.
As part of the "Digital Climate Ambassadors" program, 60 young people will take an active role in environmental awareness and social participation.
This project aims to prepare young people for the future as more active, conscious, and well-equipped individuals in both digital transformation and combating environmental and climate change.
At our opening meeting, collaboration and the distribution of tasks among partner institutions were discussed, and the project schedule was finalized. Participants exchanged ideas on the competencies to be acquired by young people and the activities to be implemented throughout the project.
The project began on September 1, 2025, and will be completed on February 28, 2027.
