Activity Details (Equal Opportunities Workshop for Youth)

The Equal Opportunities Workshop is a 5-day program designed to empower disadvantaged individuals and increase young people's sense of social responsibility. The workshop focuses on topics such as digital access, environmental risks and social exclusion.

Participants will work in teams of 5 young people and 1 group leader (ages 16-30) and gain practical experience in AI, energy management and environmental sustainability. These activities are implemented within the Youth 5.0 vision.

Workshop Activities

Participants

  1. Youth Participants:
    Selected from migrants, economically disadvantaged youth, those affected by environmental issues, out-of-school youth and rural youth with limited opportunities. During the workshop they will gain competencies in digital skills, environmental awareness and social cohesion.

  2. Group Leaders and Facilitators:
    Group leaders will ensure active participation of youth. Facilitators will guide project implementation in areas of digital skills, environmental sustainability and social cohesion.

  3. Local Communities:
    Projects developed in the workshop will directly address local communities' environmental and digital transformation needs and increase visibility of disadvantaged individuals.

  4. Partner Countries and Indirect Beneficiaries:
    Participating countries and institutions will strengthen international cooperation and integrate gained experience into local policy and practice.

Expected Results

This workshop combines digital transformation, environmental awareness and social inclusion to equip participants with knowledge, skills and awareness and help them become pioneers of positive social change.
